So……. Last Friday I was in London on the Dentistry 17 course. Dentistry 17 is one of the UK’s premier dental conferences.
It was an early start (I had to catch the train at 5:49am) and despite getting lost I still managed to make it to Hammersmith on time.
Some of the world’s leading dental experts were lecturing and presenting and I learnt all about the new exciting advancements in dentistry. There were talks on the latest dental porcelains, white filling materials, cosmetic dentistry and gum treatments.
There was also a large exhibition hall with lots of dental companies showing new equipment and materials. This was very useful as I found lots of new stuff to put in the new surgeries which will be installed in August.
It was a crazy busy day but the course was great. I learnt loads and I can’t wait to implement it all into practice.
So why am I always going on courses? Well, one of the Cathedral Dental Core Values is to Pursue Growth and Learning. This means we encourage all the team to stretch themselves to continue to grow and learn. We do this by attending courses and seminars and continued training.
This means when you come to Cathedral Dental you can be confident you are getting the most up-to-date treatments and all the cutting-edge techniques. We don’t do old fashioned dentistry!
My next course is on Saturday and I will tell you guys all about it in my next blog.
