Indy's bio »

Dr Inderjit Singh

BChD Leeds 1998 | GDC no. 74460

Dr Singh is better known by his team and patients as Indy.

He took over Cathedral Dental in 2008 and his vision has been to focus on providing unparalleled patient care and offering the highest quality dentistry available today. He qualified from Leeds in 1998 and has since taken many postgraduate courses in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.

Indy has been providing teeth straightening since 2003 and has expertise using all the current systems including Invisalign (clear braces), 6Monthsmiles, Fastbraces and the Inman Aligner. He is also our resident facial aesthetics expert and has been treating patients with Botox since 2004.

He also embraces newer cutting edge treatments such as Implants, Smile Makeovers, Snap-On-Smiles and Anti-Snoring devices just to name a few.

In his spare time Indy loves spending time with his wife and two young daughters. He is also a keen fan of all sports and when he is not at work or with his family you will either find him watching TV, playing football or watching the mighty Watford FC where he has a season ticket.

Dave's bio »

Dr David Carr

BDS Ncle 2002 | GDC no. 80578

He worked in Newcastle before taking a post at Sydney Dental Hospital Australia, treating patients and teaching undergraduates. Since moving to Bury St Edmunds in 2007, Dave has been strongly committed to the ongoing development of his professional skills and strives to continue delivering excellent standards of clinical dentistry for his patients.

In 2014 he was awarded a distinction for his Masters degree in Restorative Dental Practice from the highly regarded Eastman Dental Institute University College London. This course has further raised the high standards of his general dental care and has given him valuable experience in dealing with the more complex treatments.

Dave’s wife and 3 young boys keep him very busy, but when a moment arises he can normally be found in the gym or watching his beloved hometown football team Liverpool.

Melanie Baynham

Dental Nurse

GDC no. 134475

I’ve been a nurse at Cathedral Dental since 2004 and became a qualified and registered nurse in 2006. You will find me in surgery with Dave and occasionally helping patients on Reception. I have just achieved my Certificate in Oral Health Education, so I can now offer advice to patients on how to keep their mouth healthy.

At the weekend I like to spend time catching up with friends and family and, of course, adding in a little retail therapy!
