Joao Teixeira, qualified in dentistry from the Higher Institute of Health Sciences – Porto, Portugal in 2012 and worked in several local private practices across the North region up until 2016. At that time, having already achieved a role as a Clinical Director, he decided to embrace a new challenge, settling in Wales as a General Dental Practitioner, where he completed his vocational training and remained until 2021.
João Teixeira combines a strong personality and a great ability to work with enormous empathy, which gives patients the confidence and security of being treated with the utmost competence and quality.
During these years in the UK, João has been taking courses to improve his skills and keep up to date with the most recent materials and techniques.
His main areas of interest are periodontology and cosmetic dentistry.
In addition to his academic career, João has also studied music from the age of 6 and plays both the piano and violin.
Aside from dentistry and music, João loves to spend time with friends and family as well as travelling and getting to know new cultures. He is a very active person who often plays tennis, golf and football as well as enjoying more adventurous sports such as bungee-jumping, cart racing and sky diving.
